Business meets Art - Judy Roberts until April 2010 Swiss Business Hub - Dubai World Trade Center For the first time the Swiss Business Hub Dubai launches an art exhibition within its office space and gives you the opportunity to connect daily business with artworks of a special Arabic touch. Judy Roberts, the artist, first came to Dubai in 1983. The hallmark of her artworks is well researched and detailed depiction of her subject, whatever the medium. Her work is quite literally seen and collected all over the world as she has designed numerous sets of stamps for the UAE Postal Authority. She has taken part in many solo and joint exhibitions, both in the UAE and the UK. Her latest works are more contemporary but nevertheless integrate timeless Arabic themes.

Translation of Swiss children books 2009 During the Summer 2009 Kalima (Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation) translates Swiss Children Books into Arabic, among others: 'Heidi' \| Peter Stamm \| by Johanna Spyri \| Illustrations: Hannes Binder. Kalima is a major new translation initiative by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage, which funds the translation, publication and distribution of high quality foreign writing into Arabic.
